The MJ459 is designed for safe tests on cables, generators, motors, distribution networks, transformers, switchgear, domestic and industrial installations, components & appliances.   Equipment and installations can test at 1000 Volts DC when specified, also telecommunications and aircraft equipment can test at 100 Volts DC & 110 - 120 Volts AC. Systems can also be tested with 250 Volts DC.   Test leads that have fused prods are also available & it is advised that they be utilized while checking equipment that is isolated from any supply (perform voltage test), specifically with high energy testing situations.
