3M IR37OG-350 DEUS Oil & Gas Escape Rescue Descent Device Kit 350FT

3M's IR37OG-350 escape & assisted rescue kit for the oil & gas industry includes triple lock carabiners & edge protectors to satisfy safety requirements.

The IR37OG-350 is built around the 3M & DEUS 3700 descent device which is an ultra compact and safe system which is perfect for at height environments to 590 feet, including oil & gas applications. The DEUS 3700 is a controlled descent device that allows a 2 meters per second (6.6 feet per second) controlled descent. An over sized control knob enables complete control even while wearing heavy gloves. Start, stop or change speed at any time while you are descending.

This all in one escape device accommodates a large variety of applications to 590 feet including

Single & multi person escape
Assisted Rescue - both 1 & 2 person
Self Rescue following a fall event
Restraint & Positioning
Rescue training if used along with 3M & DEUS 3700 device

The hand held descent device is portable and lightweight at under 2.5 lbs. (1.1 kilograms) making it very easy to carry. No need for doubling up rope to achieve controlled descent which reduces the need to have longer ropes.

Cost Saving Versatility

The rope is non integrated which allows the same device to be utilized when new rope is required or when using different rope lengths based on your working height & training requirements.

350 feet of 8 millimeter kernmantle orange rope is made with lightweight polyester / Technora sheath and a Technora core - fire resistant to 925 degrees F
2 - 4 foot Rope Over Wire anchorage connector rated to 7,000 pounds
3 - Triple lock carabiners meet the oil & gas industry requirement
(RTU) Rescue Transfer Unit with a 4:1 mechanical advantage for vertical rescue lifts. Pre-rigged kit includes

1 cam locking pulley
1 double pulley w/ integral swivel & 50 feet of 7.5 millimeter kermantle rope - 12.25 foot working length
2 carabiners
Dyneema sling & storage bag

Lifting using an RTU Kit can be achieved more quickly & with less effort as compared to conventional handle wheel type systems. DEUS RTU will operate independently of the controlled descent system to allow for increased flexibility in your rigging & a wider range of use
