DBI/SALA® Rescue Positioning Device with 185' rope is a perfect retrieval safety solution for confined space entry, retrieval, emergency squads, utility work, chemical-oil industry, scaffolding operations, construction work, mining, overhead crane rescue, repair or maintenance operations and agricultural industry. Rescue positioning device featuring a traveling distance of 35' is used for raising or lowering themselves or someone else to a work level and lock out the device without using tie-off. Reliable device features corrosion-resistant construction with anodized aluminum, stainless steel and brass and a electrostatic powder coated housing as well as tamper proof fasteners. It features a 3/8" Dia static kern mantle rope that elongates as less as 2% under load and has 4:1 gear ratio. A slight pull on the rope resumes the raising or lowering. It is provided with a safety back up through an inertial speed break that activates automatically when user loses control or become unconscious. It has a visual mode indicator that lets user to see if the device is in the raise/lower mode or if it is in its locked-out position. Device includes 1" wide latex treated polyester web connection sling, polyester web rescue sling, hooks, pulley, aluminum rope gripping handle, 2 Saflok™ self closing/locking carabineers and nylon carrying bag. Rescue positioning device meets ANSI, OSHA standards.
