DBI SALA 3400612 Sealed Blok Self Retracting Lifeline 175 Ft Fall Protection
The DBI SALA 3400612 features a stainless steel cable assembly and stainless steel snap hook.
Normal operation allows the full lifeline length to extend & retract without hesitation while extending & no slack while retracting as workers move at a normal speed. When falls occurs the speed sensing braking system activates, arresting the fall & absorbing a lot of the energy.
For falls that occur toward the lifeline's end, a reserve fall protection system has been utilized to assure reduced impact. If a fall arrest has taken place, the SRL needs be removed from service & inspected. Avoid quick or sudden movements during normal work operations, as this might cause SRL lockups.
