DBI SALA 8516691 Advanced Portable Fall Arrest Post System
The DBI SALA 8516691 is designed specifically to use on transformers and other vertical platforms having a potential fall hazard.
It has lightweight and
compact
design, weighing a mere 38 pounds means the post is easily transportable and installed.
The fall protection system features three independently swiveling anchor points. These can rotate a full 360 degrees, providing mobility
freedom
for 3 workers that have a self retracting lifeline or a fixed length lanyard.
The post also has an anchor point to incorporate a horizontal lifeline & tie back if needed. It offers a 5,400 pound maximum
horizontal lifeline
anchor point in its lowest position with no tie back.
The 8516691 features 3 telescoping working heights which range from 30.5 inches, 43 inches and 54.5 inches. It can also be utilized with a DBI SALA davit arm in confined space entry & retrieval applications.
